Meat Dishes

Dansak (chicken, lamb)

Indian style chicken curry with a rich tomato and lentil sauce,

flavoured with curry leaves and cumin.

Vindaloo (chicken, beef, pork)

Not as spicy as everyone seems to think- it’s a dish from Goa based

around a tangy tomato and garam-masala spiced sauce.

Very tasty.

Penang curry (chicken, beef, pork)

A Malaysian / Indian crossover from the Andaman sea, with a

tamarind and coconut sauce.

~

Thai red curry (chicken, beef, pork)

A rich red Thai curry- lots of freshly ground lemon grass and galangal,

palm sugar and lime leaves, as well as some Indian spice make this an

authentic Thai experience.

Thai green curry (chicken, beef, pork)

Tasty Thai classic with baby aubergines, made with authentic fresh

green Thai paste.

Thai yellow curry (chicken, beef, pork)

The most exotic of the Thai curries, made with fresh turmeric, galangal

and lemongrass, with pineapples for an extra fruity zing.

Mussaman beef curry.

One of the richest and most interesting Thai dishes,

it has a thick sauce flavoured with lemongrass and ginger and a surprising

number of Indian spices, which give it its intense rich, tangy flavour.

Moroccan tagine with apricot and chickpeas (lamb, chicken)

Deliciously rich Moroccan dish, made with hunza apricots and freshly ground

Moroccan spices- served with either couscous or rice.

Chicken korma

A tasty classic, with almonds, fruit and yoghurt,

flavoured heavily with freshly ground cardamom and cinnamon.

Chicken tika masala

Chicken in a rich tomato, yoghurt and methi sauce,

made fruity with fresh mango or pineapple.

Methi Curry (lamb, chicken)

The delicious savoury taste of fresh methi (fenugreek) is the main

flavour of this curry, balanced with fresh tomatoes and rich fried spices.

Beef Nehari Rich

Dehli beef curry with lots of warming spices and a

delicious anise flavour. Very good in the cold weather.

Rogan Josh (beef, chicken)

Classic Kashmiri dish with a very rich tomato

and yogurt sauce. Served with fresh tomatoes and coriander.

Vegetarian Dishes

Red lentil dahl with butternut squash

Split red lentil dahl, lots of earthy Indian spices which match the

squash nicely. Fresh curry leaves, cumin and caramelised onions give this

dahl a great flavour.

Yellow split peas with swede

A dahl of yellow split peas and swede, with cardamom and methi

flavours to match the swede.

~

Black eyed beans and mushrooms

Rich sauce with spicy methi, fennel and curry leaf flavours,

strong tasting but delicate enough for the mushrooms to come through.

~

Three bean chilli

A great vegge chilli, with kidney, haricot and black beans,

bursting with flavour and nice and hot.

~

Chick-pea dahl with tamarind and sweet potato

Sour tasting tamarind and tomato sauce dominated by cumin;

contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the yams and the

earthy taste of the chickpeas.

Stir fried Chinese veg with black beans.

A wok at 300 degrees brings out wonderful flavours from the veg!

Stir-fried with soy, ginger, garlic and chilli.
